Amrizal Idroes  

Pak Amrizal is from the land of Sundanees in West Java. For two decades he was a professional researcher at the coconut research institute at Manado, Sulawesi and at the research center for social economics study for forestry and tree crops in Bogor. Another decade of his career was dedicated to the coconut sector at the Jakarta based headquarters of the Asia Pacific Coconut Community (APCC), an intergovernmental organization of coconut producing countries, now known as the International Coconut Community (ICC).
With over three decades of experience within the coconut industry, he has significantly contributed to sustainable development of the coconut sector, and the promotion of coconut derivative products in Indonesia and the broader Asia-Pacific region. He has contributed several articles in academic journals during his tenure at ICC.

As Co-Founder and current Vice chairman of the Indonesian Association for Coconut Product Manufacturers (HIPKI), Amrizal has been instrumental in uniting a diverse group of stakeholders to advance the coconut sector. He collaborates with multiple government Ministries and private sector organizations to advance sustainable practices and support global competitiveness of the Indonesian coconut industry.

Amrizal has a Postgraduate Diploma in Agricultural Economics and a Masters in Economics, University of New England (UNE), Australia.
